lately i’ve been feeling restless.  wanting to roam.  i’ve been watching movies and documentaries from far off places and wanting to pack up and move there.

a lover of streams and forests by nature, i find it strange that i’ve been drawn to the intrigue of wide open spaces.  i grew up in upstate ny and have always been happiest with a canopy of trees above, but recently i’ve fancied the idea of roaming around the australian bush or the mongolian plains.  weird, right?

so, i was invited to elgin this weekend to take dog photos at the canelo hills vineyard for the dog friendly vineyard party.  i met some great people and some great dogs.

then, after all the visitors left i hopped into my car, put my target cowgirl hat on and headed back to town right into the sunset.  radio stations: one classical, one country, one classic rock.  the eagles were playing as i drove through the golden landscape.

green vines, golden plains, deep blue sky, tasty wines.

to sum it up, i want to move to sonoita.  just sayin’s all.
