dogs in life

hello again!  welcome back to dogdailyphoto, the photo blog of tucson’s digital muzzle dog photography!

i wanted to take a moment to explain one of my dog photography philosophies:  the concept of dogs being dogs, the art of capturing them in their element, doing what they do.

when i ask people what they love about their dogs  most they NEVER say, “i love it when he sits perfectly still for pictures.”

people answer with things like, “i love it when he is waiting for me every night after work, nose pressed to the glass, nothing moving but his tail.” or “when she wakes me up in the morning by sticking her squeaky cow in my face.”   “i love his nose.”

i want to photograph your dog doing what you find most endearing, adorable, unique to him.  sit and stay shots are great, but i also hope we can get shot of your dog being goofy, cute, ….himself or herself.  i hope we can document the things your dog does that makes you smile or makes you give him another cookie.  i hope we can document what your dog does to make your life more rich, joyful and comforting.
