at the top of the stairs at the ventura beach pier a man sat with his dog, ina. ruben walked up to him directly and handed him some cash. the dog never left her man’s lap. anna knelt down and rubbed the brindled head. no expression. no wag. no movement.
she wasn’t leaving his lap.
he then explained he was teaching her tricks so that she could be on that show will all the funny videos….
