DOG DAILY PHOTO

god, i wanted this puppy.  louise. hated the name.  it was 1994.  i was a personal assistant for a generous couple…who couldn’t say “no” to a stray.  this dog and her brother were found in the desert and i instantly fell in love with her.

so, yes, it was a long time ago!  before i ever thought of having a digital slr camera.  that’s right…this picture was taken with….film.  film is something that came in a little canister.  you opened up the back of the camera and wove it into a slot and then wound it around a spool.  you took a few pictures….much less than 1000…then wound it back up and removed it.  then you gave it to someone to develop, which took a couple days to a couple weeks.

i was looking through an old album and found this shot.  the green is so green and there was no photoshop for me back then.  that was how green the grass actually looked.

i wanted that puppy so badly, but lived in an apartment.  it was fine though.  once loki came along i had my real dog…
